Peter, IMO, to progress with shooting hummers, you have to get rid of the feeders.

Hummers are challenging to photograph but with lots of patience and practice you are rewarded with beautiful captures.

Thanks. Sometimes I feel like they are playing me too. They perched very low in our apple tree I will slowly walk to get closer to them, then they will fly and perch more higher he he he.
