Jun 29, 2014 23:37 | #7 cogs v wrote in post #17000756 Nice shot Peter Whats your thoughts on the tamron lens looks pretty sharp have you done much PP to this shot (have you had any other big lens to compare to ) I have the sigma 150 -500 that I'm getting fairly good results with (I have a few in a post on here at the moment called ( a few new ones ) I think you commented in it ) I was wondering if that extra 100mm would make much differences Colin Thanks Colin, Not much done on the pp I just bumped the exposure a little bit and did not add any sharpness at all, I left it to 25 default number of lightroom and a little bit of clarity like 12 or 15. I don't have another lens to compare this my longest one before was the EF300mm +1.4x, Your Sigma is really sharp I can see it with your pictures the 100mm for me is not much if I already have 150-500mm but I upgraded from ef300mm so that extra 300mm is significant, Unless you want to get rid of your sigma and really want that extra 100mm you will not be disappointed. I really like my Tamron. Peter
