He brought be two big boxes, one from B&H and one from Canoga.

Going to let them sit for an hour or so to warm up from the cold UPS truck, then pop them open and see what I’ve got. Guess that’s not too long to wait, since I’ve spent the last two days hitting “refresh” on the UPS tracking site.

I see you reserve some space on the right side of the picture, waiting for the missing piece---16-35L

Haha, congrats.

I got my 24-70L on Monday. I was outside and saw the UPS truck coming down the street. I ran off my driveway as the driver backed into it. He asked me to sign because the lens was over $1000. I brought the box in, screamed a little. As I was getting the lens out of the box, I almost dropped it! It was so heavy. I didn't expect it to be. So, be careful. Then just enjoy and say to yourself, "Finally. Red Rings!" :)

hef - I'm gonna start looking for an updated DUCK, but I think they've all gone south.
Wouldn't a 16-35L be sweet with these two lens. I think that will have to wait until the cc cools enough to handle. I really don't use the wide end very much now, but if I had the 16-35L, I would probably use it.
I did get everything unpacked without dropping anything. I am now roaming around the house looking for things to snap. One cat is hiding under the bed. The other I can't find anywhere. Margie will be home in a couple hours, so I’ll be able to take a couple pics before I get “that” look. You know the look:

Ed – she makes jewelry, mostly from the softer Italian Moretti glass. She tinkers a little with borosilicate and does a little sculptural stuff. You can see what she does at:
