This guy did a couple of circuits at RAAF Richmond yesterday afternoon, taken from my back deck 7D+ sigma 150-500

is this at 500mm? curious as to how far away the plane was

Between 3 & 500mm with a bit of a crop. We live just off finals/upwind & the noise abatement turn has them coming around the back of the house at 1000ft turning for downwind.

yea really nice! im lucky enough to be stationed right next to a runway, so i see pretty much anything that flies constantly.. gorgeous birds they are!
