Went back to Woodward this weekend to see what the action was.

I need some more practice panning. These are what I was going for, but with a bit more sharpness on the front. A lot of factors come into it. For instance, my all time favorite shot is from 2009 in: "Nightmare Cruise" with a happy ending. It's at 1/30 sec, while the blue 'Vette below is at the same shutter speed, but a much sharper image overall. That's what makes it fun for me, because I'm never sure what I'm going to get.

So far, my favorite shot of the weekend is here: Michigan guys - It's time to shoot the "Pre Cruise"!

I would probably go wider in all of these.

Also, there appears to be quite a bit of aliasing in these. Looks like you oversharpened.

I would probably go wider in all of these.

I would have gone a bit wider in some of them, except that my 28-70 is in repair so I was stuck with the low end of the 70-200. And much wider would have run into the poles at both sides of Duggan's. You can see them in #2 & 4.

Also, there appears to be quite a bit of aliasing in these. Looks like you oversharpened.

Where are you seeing that? My monitor isn't all that great, but generally, only the front of the cars are sharpened.
Thanks for the comments.

Nice low light panning Frank, I know that can be a Bear.
Now for what the cars look like to me. ;)
#1. Looks to be a 71 Corvette with a big block hood.
#2. 68 Road Runner/GTX with a Six Pack hood. Could this one be a clone?
#3. 66 Vette, again with a big block hood.
#4. These are the year Vettes I can't keep straight, so late model will have to suffice.
#5.^^ Same thing here, so late model Stang.
#6. Now this one I like. Looks like my old one with a different hood. 70/71 Cuda.
#7. 64 Fairlane, but could be a Merc? Do I see Marauder on the front fender?
This whole scene reminds me so much of Vanuys BLVD. in the mid 70's. :D

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Thanks, Bruce!
#2. I don't think so. It would be a brave guy in this area to have a RR clone!
#6. I saw a '68 340 Formula S tonight. Rare fish, & it's been in the family since it was new.

Sadly, not this time, as it was in a specially bad spot. I'll keep an eye out for it in the future.
