If you suddenly see that your IpCamera is down today and you happened to be using "noip" as DDNS rerouting for your dynamic ip address and camera redirecting, read more:

Microsoft has seized the Noip.com through court order this morning and Noip is completely close now. So if you noticed that your security cameras online are not working or your third party softeware is no more showing the camera or their recordings, don't rush to beat your cameras... They are innocent!
Till one hour back Noip main site would gave an explanation as to what happened but even that is closed now... that is or was:

http://www.noip.com (external link)

Solution: For technical people, change all your web address in your softwares, from whatever you registered with noip with the original URL address (Four set numbers with Cameras specific port after ":") and you should be back. That is till your dynamic ip changes that you may need to change the address again or may be till that time Noip finds a way to fight back or MS will come with the better MORE EXPENSIVE MS alternative ddns solution and provider through them surely at higher cost, if that is the business plan....

Interesting, I had heard nothing about this until now. Too bad people weren't paying attention to the developments, 'cause it sounds like now several million accounts are "shut down"!

Good news:
My free account is again working and functional.
However still "NoIP" site has the this announcement:

"NOTICE: Our domains are still experiencing outages due to the Microsoft takedown. Please read our formal statement on the matter. "

With the explanation from CEO as follow:

A message from our CEO
As you certainly know by now, on Monday control of our most popular domain names were seized. As a result, millions of hostnames have gone dark and millions of our users have been put out of service.

We have been throwing everything we have at getting you back online with the least possible delay. For legal reasons, we have been restricted from reaching out to you, but we simply cannot stay quiet any longer. We are very close to a resolution and we will update you with more information as soon as we can.

We hear your overwhelming support on social media and would like you to know that we share your frustration. Thank you so much for your support! #FreeNoIP
