End of day....Kingfisher

Taken after sunset, and in total shade. I liked the colours resulting from these conditions. Not great shots due to the lack of light but it was what I had to deal with ;).

Eagles are easy, especially in Island and Skagit county. I almost feel guilty photographing them. These little guys are like trying to photograph a bullet.

Well, when they're in flight, I agree totally. I think since it was almost dark, this gal figured the day was over and was sitting there preening for at least 15 minutes. I got tired of her and turned my camera back to the river ;) .
