I have an older laptop loaded with Win7-32bit, USB2 ports, and 2gb RAM. I decided I would use it to try tethered shooting.

I've loaded the EOS Digital Solutions Disk, v24.1 and then plug my 600D/T3i into the USB. I then get a message saying that the driver could not be found.. Going into Device Manaager, the message says that drivers are not installed (Code 28).

I've tried downloading the latest/greatest Digital Solution from Canon USA and I get the same message. I thought I'd try here before spending the next few days emailing Canon back and forth looking for a solution.

Anyone have any ideas as to what I may be overlooking and/or missing?

Canon's website says that no driver is needed. I've never had any trouble with my 600D and Vista or 8.1, but they're both 64 bit.

Yeah, tried all that. No Joy.

Guess I'm going to have to call/email Canon. Wish me luck!
