Hey Mike, maybe a little off in my pricing for some of the items and not including the small stuff. Seems like an OK price, I do not see much profit by parting it out and would not be worth the hassle for me especially if you cannot get rid of everything or if somehting is wrong with an item.

In my opinion, it's still not worh buying with profit in mind, but the box indicates this is the f/4 IS, which I think is going for more than $500.00

Good catch, if indeed the box description is correct. Amazon shows used at $917 and up.

Yup, missed that. Probably worth it to someone out there to part out if you could get rid of most everything. The target single buyer/user who can spend $3500 and is building ground up would do much better spending that money building around a newer camera, Of course, there always a sucker out there.

50D $250
16-35/2.8II $1200
70-200/4 IS $900

Everything else, meh. Maybe $500.

Total $2850. And that's a generous price if I wanted to keep it all. Not worth it to part out. No one will buy the bags, they are worthless.

I'd offer him $2500 if you're serious. Otherwise, he will not sell all that. People don't shop Craigslist to drop $3500 on stuff like that. People want a good deal. It's like the garage sale of internet shopping.
