We went to a beach and some sand accidentally got onto my Sigma 35 f1.4 Art lens.
I tried blow the sand out with the rocket blower, but feels like sand got under the focus ring. I'm afraid to rotate it much, since sand will be scraping the surface.
Any suggestions how to clean it up, short of sending it to either Sigma or a local repair center?

Thanks guys

Never blow, vacuum it out instead. Blowing will just drive it deeper. Take a shop vac or something strong and try and suck it out. Might have to wiggle it a bit to loosed pieces that are being ground in.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.
