St Vincent & the Grenadines! My wife wouldn't let me take my 60D plus lens assortment to SVG; she said it would've been too dangerous (she's a native Vincentian), so I acquiesced. So, these photos were taken with a P&S camera, the Canon PowerShot SX170. It's a beautiful Caribbean island:

Very nice shots, I've always wanted to go there, but didn't know crime was an issue.

Thanks. :) I think my wife was being a bit overprotective. Sure, there was poverty, people begging, and so forth, but I felt safe, even in the capital city, Kingstown. We spent most of our time in Buccament Bay (not the resort, unfortunately!), in a poorer area, and again I felt safe. I wouldn't leave my camera unattended on the front porch, but I wouldn't do that here either. I missed my camera; I think I would've had more fun and taken better quality photos with my DSLR, but I made due with what I had. Getting there is a pain in the butt, as there is no direct flight from Canada to SVG.
