I follow the setup on page 60
Shutter release working ok, but flash not working when camera take picture
When i hold the Test button on 622c the flash test fire, when i release the test button on 622c 2 of my camera all trigger camera to take photo, but the flash not fire at this point.

Please help

Enable remote Shutter Release [Fn] 02 Shutter Release

• Use an LS-2.5 cable (supplied) to connect the on-
camera C-TX to the camera’s shutter release port.

Cameras released from 2012 do not need a cable.

• Long press [Fn], then [Up] or [Down] for Fn 02 - Shu.

• Default value is Off. Turn On only when required.

• Press or [RIGHT] to toggle between Off and On.

• Press [Set] to return to Groups.

• Press and release [Test] on a remote 622C:

The flash will fire a test flash.

If the camera is set to AF it will autofocus

The shutter will open and fire the flash again.

• Single shot only - no Continuous, Bulb or Timer.

Is this the way you have configured your setup?

All 622s on same channel.

Cam1 + 622C-TX with C.Fn 02 "02/SHU/ON"; Gp A M-16; Gps B and C Off.

622C + 600EX-RT (?) hand-held so that the 622C [TEST] button can be used as a shutter release. Gp A

Cam2 + 622C-TX with C.Fn 02 "02/SHU/ON"; Gps A, B, C Off

(Better - another 622C hand-held to [TEST] trigger.)

When the [TEST] button is pressed, there should be a flash, then autofocus if enabled, (up to 2 secs), then the shutter and flash.

You may need fresh alkaline batteries or a battery pack for the flash to recharge fully between first and second flash.

I did an update from 1.03 to 1.08 and nothing, looks like the AF assist beam just died.. Still love the unit though, specially when I can easily control both my godox ad360II flashes..

Anyone else reports similar issues?
Dead AF assist beam. Maybe something is not connected, I may take it apart .

It could have a bad solder joint, or the beam emitter has died. But it is worth checking that your settings are correct first.
(Edit: The two settings are described in TOYUG II v5.01 p.41. The camera is used to set both. - this applies to the YN622C and YN622C II)
Check the setting on the YN622C-TX which you are describing - TOYUG II v5.01 p.61.

Hi,

I have just bought a Godox AD 360 and started to use it with my YN-622C TX and YN-622C units.

As I read it in the forum it works well with PC Sync to PC Sync connection when I want to use it on high shutter speed. I only noticed that when I for example change the shutter speed from /2000 to /4000 it makes an effect on the flash exposure too. I made the test in a dark room so there was no ambient light. Is it normal?

I tried to make the SuperSync with my YN-622C TX on my 6D and the AD360 on the hot shoe of YN-622C but there was banding. Can you give me tip how should I setup the timing of the YN-622C TX?

Thanks in advance!

Didnt realize there is a new thread. Maybe I should post the following question on here.

I now have the following:

camera 1 with flash 1 using group C
camera 2 with flash 2 using group A
flash 3 is off camera using group A

When I press the shutter on camera 1, flash 1 and flash 3 fires, flash 2 doesn't -> good
When I press the shutter on camera 2, flash 1, 2, 3 all fire -> is it possible to configure yn622 so that only flash 2 and 3 fire, but not flash 1? If not what will it take?

Run into an issue in manual setting. I do not use TTL

622C TX ver 1.08, (3)622C's version 1, (3) Yongnuo YN600 EX flashes and Fuji XT-1

Channel A transfers powers settings to single flash
Channel B transfers power settings to single flash

Channel A + Channel B only transfer power to one setting to 1 flash, the other is just triggered to whatever was previously shown

Channel A + Channel C works fine transfers powers settings
Channel B + Channel C works fine transfers powers settings

Is there any reason that channel A+ channel B will not work simultaneously like the others?

Using all three channels together, same problem as A + B

Joel

I am thinking of picking up these triggers to pair with my Elinchrom location system and my Fuji/Mamiya gear. Neither system supports rear curtain sync, however according to Yongnuo, there is a setting on the trigger that allows for 1st or 2nd curtain sync. Does this would work in "legacy" mode - does the camera send two signals to the trigger so it knows not to fire the first signal and to trigger on the second signal (when the shutter is about to close)?

Something isn't right. I use A+B on a regular basis with two YN600s. I even add channel C sometimes with a YN568? and a YN-RT receiver. I haven't seen an issue like you describe. I do TTL with + and - or power level on manual. Or combinations of both.
