This is the male of the pair that nested near a corner of our house. I tried to photograph him yesterday, but he didn't cooperate. Today I walked so close to him, before I realized he was there, that I had to back up in order to shoot. He was alternately preening and singing. What a sight; I've never been closer to one.

Wow Awesome Al, I had some around the house but they have been taring around after one another making it quite impossible to get a shot. Very nice. Accidental encounters are the best
