Sandy your back yard is much bigger than most of us so I think you should stay on short grass lol true I think everyone who's a regular on this site post's more from there yard than the great outdoor's, now I do travel as I'm sure a lot do, but 98% of what I post is 30 feet from my front door. So you are not alone in that respect. Thank goodness for back yard's .........we'ed all be watching reality tv instead of sitting at the computer!! Lol

Thanks Jeff. Technically most of my photos are in my front yard, but I have birds in the back too, along with dogs, horses, cows, turkey, black bears, bobcats, moose, coyotes, fox, but no wolves!
Thank goodness for the hobby of photography, because there's not much worth watching on tv...except maybe "Suits"...been streaming that show every night!

Thanks Jeremy. I'm getting more tuned in to the bird sounds, which helps tremendously to locate and identify different birds.
