Wandered down the beach on Friday morning to see if I could find any of our local icons hanging out to catch stuff from the surf; I managed to find one or two

My 14 yr. old daughter is in Seattle right now visiting, she texted me yesterday about seeing some bald eagles in the wild. She had to rub it in that I have only seen them in captivity. Ouch!

@Levina: I've gone back to the 100-400; the reach on the Tammy is nice, but the critical image quality just isn't there. I feel like I fight with it way too much when I'm out in the field and am much happier with the results when using the Canon.

@PixelPusher: I'd be more jealous of the sunny weather she's seeing here right now; watch out for her wanting to talk you into moving
