Picture wise, not the greatest here, but it was pretty neat to see a whitetail doe with triplets. I can't ever remember seeing one with three before. Pic was taken in my back pasture. Hopefully I'll be prepared with a little better lens next time I see them. She's a busy mom for sure.:)

Glad for you Terry that you not only saw them but got a shot to prove it. Although I've seen triplets several times here I have no pics whatsoever. I bet the old doe will be a nervous wreck all summer long trying to keep track of all three young ones. You must have good habitat and plenty of nourishment for her to produce so well.

Could be triplets or one of them could be an orphan from another doe. More likely one is an orphan. Does will take up young of deer that are killed. Very cool shots none the less.

Thanks Steve. Yes, the whitetail do very well in this valley. Lots of feed, water, and prime cover.:)

That's awesome! I've never seen triplets myself.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
