Here is a shot of some dunes in the late afternoon, to which I did a B&W conversion

Is it worth converting? Is so, which do you prefer and why?

Thanks in advance

I much prefer the drama of #2 tho i'd be tempted to leave the foreground in the image like was in #1

I actually like the original best. In the B&W versions it's almost difficult to figure out what I'm looking at, especially the second B&W image. For whatever reason, the color version gives me better size reference, although all 3 have my mind guessing between landscape or some sort of macro shot. It might be that I'm going on 16hours without sleep, or it might be that the shot simply doesn't have a good reference point.

That second image is the best tone wise...you might benefit somewhat by reducing the detail somewhat.
