I'll be going to the Split/Hvar/Dubrovnik area of Croatia for two weeks. Can you recommend to me some areas that deserve particular photo oriented attention?

I've only spent a weekend in Dubrovnik.

Walk east along Frana Supila for some great views of the city...

If you go all the way almost to the end of Frana Supila (where it turns south), you can shoot right across the water...

Another good vantage point is on the way to Mt. Srd. You can take a cable car up, but I'd suggest walking (either up or down). The best views are about half way up the hill, without any cable car towers or wires in the way. At the top, all the machinery gets in the picture.

The walk along the city walls is a good one as well, since it gives a close view over the city...

...as well as over the Adriatic
