Great start folks.

Welcome back Ricardo.

Stina, did you remember to wash behind the ears? :-)

Love the piggy, Stina! She seems to really enjoy the water! :)

Thanks, Levina.

The pig looks so happy. Is she really smiling? She seems to be, but I'm not that familiar with pigs' expressions.

Ricardo222 wrote in post #17018217 (external link)
Yes I think that's a real smile. Pigs are very expressive, and I have seem some grumpy ones in my time!

I think she's smiling. She perks up as soon as she sees the hose.

Shoot, I forgot! :)
She's pretty clean in those pictures, but she was really dirty immediately following.

I would love a pond like that Terry...it must be great for birdlife.

I've had some thoughts about creative "water" pictures, but haven't been able to make time to follow them up, so grabbed this on the way to the shipyard this morning. I know, it's just another Nelson Haven waterscape...complete with boat, but beggars can't be choosers!

Terry, Ricardo, John-B: all enjoyable images!

We went looking for house parts today and happened to pass this fountain. Not great shots, but they do include water.

Although there's water in the pool, nothing is coming out of the lions' mouths. I suppose the drought is the reason.

Great additions Ricardo, John, and Look!

I would love to be on that boat R.
John, won't the TM get soggy. ;)
Nice fountain Look.. I'm surprised it has water in it!

OhLook, nice fountain, and those lions are superb! Real marble?

I don't know what the lions are made of. They look solid white. Wouldn't marble be veined? And the four of them are so alike I think they were cast.

Could be cast. Marble can be veined or plain coloured, depending where its from and what was in the vicinity during the metamorphosing stage...if there is such a word!

Terry, I would love a pond like that near me. What a great place!

Ricardo, another beautiful water image. I never get tired of your Nelson Haven waterscapes.

John, lovely image. I love Kirkland's Trail Mix, Yum!!

OhLook, what a neat pool. It looks like they are letting the water evaporate instead of keeping it full?

Great shots, everybody!

I have nothing yet. Which is rather strange in a country with so much water...

I don't know what they're doing. Maybe they turn on the taps briefly when it's almost empty and let the lions spurt. This would be a compromise between using too much scarce water and not having a public water feature at all. Or maybe they'll let it go dry? It's next to the main drag in Orinda near the old theater.
