'really geared more towards the Videographer' and the astrophotographer and night time street shooter (5fps and completely silent shutter).

Looks like this thread died, not trying to rejuvinate since POTN is Canon dominant but I finally got the A7s out for a shot at the Milky Way, actually 38 shots using the Genie to track, stitched in CS6:

What's with the horizontal banding in the shot? Was that present in the RAW files, or only after post-processing?

Looks like a merge issue of sorts. The A7s i had did not exhibit this banding.
