Hi all,

We don't get on the forums enough these days, but by way of quick update...

Ben and Faith (our Eastern Bluebird pair) are having a perfect season so far, with 10 healthy fledglings from the first 2 nests, most of which are flying around here everyday. And Faith is brooding a 3rd nest of 4 brand new hatchlings as I type this. So all is going super swell for our Blues.
Ben, Faith, and 4 kids from the 2nd nest:

And our Hummers are back of course...

We have lots of fledglings of many different species:

And finally, this is Mrs.C our mother Cardinal ...doing her Pilates in the morning sun:

Wow what a fantastic series as always. I really enjoy all your bird pictures. This is my first year having a bluebird box and I watched a pair successfully nest and they produced four new blues. They have not brought the babies to my mealworm feeder yet but continue to bring the mealworms to the babies in the trees somewhere. I am hoping they nest again here. They keep flying in and out of 2 boxes but as of yet have not started there second nest. Thanks for sharing this amazing series of pictures. I enjoyed them all.

Thanks butterfly... and congrats on your Bluebird success.
I hope your fledges will come down with their parents soon. It's always wonderful to see them up close. Hosting can be frustrating sometimes because we can only do everything possible to help them thrive, and still they are wild birds with their own choices in practically every matter of their lives. We wish you and your birds continued success.

Happy birding everybody,

Kenn
