Does anyone have any suggestions for large backdrops for car shoots? I am working with a local high end car broker who is having an Italian car get together at his indoor sales room. We want to have all of the attendees drive in through a specific garage door and stop, I grab a couple of shots, and they pull in and park. The current walls are just a bland beige/off white cinder block.

Even a quick composite with another background could be fine - ideas, suggestions, etc are appreciated.

Thanks!
James

How many cars do you expect to shoot, what are you using to process, & how much time will you have for the composites? This works, but it's not "quick": Selecting areas in PS.

Probably between 10-15 cars so not a lot, could be 20 or so max. There aren't tons of Italian supercars in Memphis, so those on the invite list will be pretty exclusive. I don't want to have to spend hours on a composite, but with layer blend modes I think I can cut it down to 10-15 minutes per shot, I hope. I am going to experiment this weekend and grab some background shots to practice with. Thanks for the link - I'll check it out!

You could get 102" paper and roll it out horizontally and throw down a red carpet?

Do it live vs hours in post later.
