Canyon Tree frog

This is a new species for me. Ive never seen one before yesterday.
These 2 frogs were found up in the mountains, north of Tucson AZ where
water running down has made some natural pools. These pools stay somewhat wet
almost all year around.

These frogs were about 1.5" long and were just sitting on the granite rocks above the pools.

They have great camouflage. Very nice set Jeremy...so sharp.

Very cool Jeremy, We have a similar tree frog called a grey tree frog. They are everywhere around my home and sign at the top of there lungs sometimes.

I'm not a huge frog guy but it was cool to see tree frogs in AZ.

We usually only see toads.
