Sora

For weeks now, I've heard a t least one Sora calling from a marshy area across from my place. This morning I lucked out and caught a glimpse for the first time, then managed a shot or two. This was the best of the photos....nothing fantastic but at least a record of my first Sora.

Pretty good shot, Mike, congrats on seeing what I hear is a hard bird to locate. The bird people around here get all excited when they locate one.

Good for you, Mike; not the easiest bird to see, though common.
