Having been all around the internet looking, I am not finding any programs that support this camera for determining shutter count. I was recently informed that Canon no longer supports or services this camera, so I guess sending it to them is out of the question? Does anybody know where I can get this information?? Thanks! I used a program similar to the one you mention and all it did was give the file number of the pic.....i have never reset the camera so this may be the actual number but i would think that under 7k sounds low, but ya never know. Choderboy I like a long knob More info | Most genuine buyers would not be concerned. Any 1DS2 has probably been back for service. Shutter could be original or 3rd replacement. Dave

If it works today, likely it will continue to work for somewhere between a few shots and a few hundred thousand shots more. Perhaps....unless the original owner bought it and it set on the shelf until sold. I have owned this camera for over 1 1/2 years and I doubt i have put more than 3k on it.
