Nice deal, especially for those that have ebay bucks to use.

Very tempted, but this is the import version. No Canon warranty. How good is 6ave?

I'm really beginning to wonder if this 6ave is reputable or not. has anyone gotten their stuff and is it as advertised?

As I was about to pull the trigger on the $249 kit last week the price went to $600. That listing is still at $600. However, they started separating camera bodies to sell separately for $260+ then they started selling the bodies plus some cheap straps, chargers, batteries, and memory cards for about the same price. They have had listings on amazon for $325 the whole time and now have Amazon listings for $299. They have also dropped their price on bodies to $205, apparently as a result of another company selling cheap bodies.

If you are going to deal with the company I would suggest getting screen shots of the description of what you are buying as their images appear to be imbedded and the auction and listings and they seem to make frequent changes and new listings. Also be aware to check the "whats in the box" tab so you know exactly what you are or are not getting with your purchase. I can probably find a couple dozen different listings from them all with different variables as to what is offered. They sold 800+ of the straight kits, so I am not sure why they need to start playing the pricing and separation game.

I bought an A/V receiver from them like 10 years ago but haven't done business with them since. It was a good experience just didn't need to buy anything else.

As for all of the ads they have going on, it seems like they are desperately trying to get rid of stock. Maybe a buyer there purchased the kits and they don't want to eat them. From what I can tell they had 1500 kits, so the fact they only sold 800 tells me they probably still have a lot to try and sell.

Lower end mirrorless market is just overrun. It's not just the EOS M. You can get Samsung, Panasonic, Olympus, Nikon 1 kits for well under $300 all the time, too. Sony 3N is almost that cheap, too.
