Very nice, Ted. Its always interesting to observe the ebb and flow with certain species; some years they're here and some years they aren't.

ardeekay Cream of the Crop More info | Jul 13, 2014 19:48 | #18 Very nice, ted. Have the same situation as Carol except I'm not lacking for visits, 90% female, tho. But all are to the feeders. I have way more flowers in bloom this year than ever before for just his purpose(been more diligent w/ the fertilizer) including the Blue-black Salvia, but if I let the feeders go empty, they disappear!?! Even watched a hummer scan my mums today and they won't even begin to have blooms until well into Sept. Confusing! Oh, well. Rog

LV Moose wrote in post #17028707 Gorgeous. Love the color of the flowers. Not the first time I've heard that. Wonder what's going on. Climate changes? Pondrader wrote in post #17028939 Very nice Ted, It does seem that everything is a little out of sorts this year, I know that winter lasted so long here everything is just a little behind, but I'm hoping for a fantastic fall, some buddy owes us that I think. SJC from VT wrote in post #17029149 Looks like you are making up for lost time rather quickly. Very pretty set. Like others, my numbers are down as well. No squabbling going on over territory. I got a good chuckle out of the 2nd image because if I didn't know better I'd say that one was trying to cheat by perching on the Salvia like some of mine do ![]() Mike, thank you very much 761 was the best 41-minutes ever shooting hummers.
