I'd like to hear from people that are using this software. Do you like it? Is it capable? Is it a reasonably priced software package?

@99 of your american Dollars I think pspx is well priced for what you get and is a fraction of the cost of Photoshop !

I have been using psp8 for some time now , mainly because i'm poor and because i'm not that clever and found photoshop quite daunting , I think it works very well:D

I agree with peacock. I have installed Photoshop Elements 2 but use Corel Paint Shop Pro X most of the time. It is very easy to use has a lot of the bells that come with Adobe Photo shop. Also have Adobe Photo Shop 7 but it is NOT installed. Have a good look at Corel's web site. (I started with PSP 8 and moved to # X.)

I have PSP9 and PSPX installed.
Use the 9 version a bit more, the corel version has some problems, but both versions gives you basic editing, a lot of filters and are easy to use.

Thanks for all the great advice! I think for now I'll upgrade from PSP 8 and go with the PSPX. It seems like a great bargain and it sounds like it will work for the kinds of manipulation that I'd be interested in doing.

Any other programs out there that might be interesting to look at?
