Another unusual beak

I previously posted pics of the redwinged blackbird with the deformed beak and now I have a eurasian collared dove with a hooked beak. Maybe it's the water?

That is strange, having two species in Idaho, I would normally think of very clean environment there, of course they can fly long distance but a Dove? Something bad somewhere that has affected them. A few years back Alaska had quite a few problems just like this. Is there any fracking around the state or close by?

How exactly would fracking affect a bird's beak ? Your assessment is pure speculation without any basis.

Well you take nice shots of weird birds. I would let a biologist at your nearest DNR office have a look at your 2 bird pics with deformed beaks, bet they would find them very interesting.
