Juv is a first for me, fluffy with a ridiculously long tail - what's not to like.

Lovely to see a youngster of the LTT, they are such delightful little birds (like lollipops :) )

AFAIK they stay in family groups such that if they have a few goods years without winter hardship deaths you could see as we have done once or twice over the years about 12 visiting at once and that flock can be three generations (or more???). They are real treat to see all too fleetingly in the garden.


That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

@BoxBrownie: Yes you get a dozen or so in the garden, they try various bits of food and then moving on all with 60 seconds.
