Moved the discussion here so as not to clutter up the other thread.

OC members we can meet in Cerritos at the mall or Towne Center. Or Orange at the shopping center by the 22 and 57

I'm thinking meet at 8PM and meet those coming from LA County at Grand Park, parking around garage next to Dorothy Chandler pavilion. It was $9 last time I went.

Destinations I would like to visit
110 and 4th/6th
6th bridge on the E LA side
LACMA
DWP

I dont think we can do it all. 4th and 6th will eat up a lot of time due to the longish exposures. You have to drive to the location, not the same as grand park.

here is the exact parking spot I had last time I was there. It's the closest free parking you can get for either 4th or 6th.

550 S Beaudry Ave, Los Angeles, CA

I say Cerritos mall or the Towne center just because I'd be backtracking going to orange.

Edit: there's parking on Mateo which is right next to the bridge in the arts district.

I'm down for meeting at Cerritos mall. Seems central enough for the 3 of us.

Orange would be closer for me but further for the 2 of you, I suppose.

As to where to go for the shoot, I think we won't be able to hit up all those spots. I'd be happy with either 4th/6th, or grand park. Never shot either.

I was just throwing out suggestions. Last time we were at Gran Park, we spent like 3 hours there.

Seems like 4th and the 110 is everyone's interest, I'm definitely down for that. I'm just worried too many people and it will be dangerous as there's not a lot of room there.

Also, who can drive? I have a Prius but will have to empty it out unless I can take the wife's CRV.

4th and 6th are pretty safe (even with a lot of people), as the surrounding traffic is pretty low. There's a sidewalk you shoot from. Only issue is that since we're on the sidewalk using ultrawides, we might be in each other's photos occasionally. I'll be driving on my own as I dont know my exact schedule, but early 9ish is ok for me. I'm good with any location in DTLA.
