Lightroom watermark question

Is it possible to have LR add a watermark to the bottom edge of an image that spans the entire width of the image regardless of how wide the image is?

So for example say the watermark is a PNG file that contains a URL, so it's transparent except for the text and I want the text to stretch across the entire width of the image. I've seen watermarks like this and I haven't been able to figure out if the photog is doing it in LR or PS.

I think so. In the watermark preset creator dialog, one of the boxes under "watermark effects" has a way to adjust the size. You have three choices: Proportional, Fit, or Fill. I'm reasonably certain one of those will do it, but I'm not in front of Lightroom right now so I can't give anything more specific.

You MIGHT need to go into Photoshop and make a transparent png image of the URL text, instead of having Lightroom apply the text. The size effects may work differently for text than for images.
