Nice ones, Pete. I like the look of Bridal Veil. I was on the ouray side the first week of July, went up Black Bear Pass, but it wasn't open all the way. Storm clouds chased me down anyway. Lots more flowers around Crested Butte.

I miss the West. I grew up in Montana and Wyoming.

Your beautiful photographs made me homesick, in a good way. We only have reverse/negative mountains here in Florida, i.e., sinkholes.

Great series. I haven't spent too much time in the Anthracite range, but I love the San Juans.

Thanks Stan! All I can say is that I love LIVING in Colorado and exploring whenever I can. :)

I saw that you were in that area a week prior; we're going to have to talk a little more often! :P

Thanks! The beauty of this trip (aside from the wildflowers & waterfalls) was that I was shooting for a client, and whatever they didn't want, I was free to keep. :D

There is so much more to the Anthracite Range. I have only explored and shot perhaps 20% of the area (and I've shot in that area a fair amount)!!

I like the first one best - good feeling of depth from front to back.

Thanks! I enjoyed exploring the Ophir area for wildflowers and good landscape scenery. :)
