Looks like it ripped it's ear running through the brier patch to escape the farmers daughter. Nice catch!

You may be right Phil. I've seen rabbits with ear damage before, but not quite like this one. Maybe ear mites or flies? Or thorns like shot4u suggested.

Ya I've got one just like it. Got video of it playin in the back yard about 3:00 am one morning on the wildcam. Makes sense he had a close call at some point.
