Normally I love seeing all the babies out and about. But man, baby crows sure make a noise. And it's constant, as Mom shows them around and they cry for food. In this case, Mom was there, but largely ignoring them as they whined and moaned for food. I'm sure this was a lesson in self-preservation for the babies.
1. Mommmmy, I'm HUNGRY!!,

Such a fun set Ian...well done. I agree on the noise level of the crows in particular. You can hear them way off in the distance. I remember one time my husband asking what was up with all the racket...I said hungry crow babies!

I can hear them now. We had a nest of crows in our yard this year, and what a racket! Excellent photos and a great story.

Thanks very much Judy. The interesting part was watching Mom, over several days, showing the babies around the neighbourhood, where all the food sources are.

Ah well, Jeff, it'll calm down soon, until this time next year.
