Nice shots but curious. It looks so flat and the air looks so stable as in no or weak thermals. Hows the soaring?

Middle of winter here so only the odd skinny thermal & we had 15knts of crosswind from the right at tree height increasing to 20-25knts by about 800ft. It was a very challenging day. Longest flight of the day was 40 mins but he was working hard for every second of it. Most flights were just slay rides from release back to land but it's all good training.
