I just sold my EOS M and I was going to pick up the Pocket Cinema Cam, but after the hype died and I thought about everything I'd have to add on with it to make it functional I decided it was an easy pass... I don't know exactly what I'll do in terms of a second body but that can be figured out later

I kind of hate my 24-105, just because my other lens have open up more, and after working with Rokinon and manual lenses I do miss the autofocus at times (like yesterday when I shooting a concert)... Or maybe I'm just lazy?

I have both the 24-70 and 24-105, I prefer the Tamron in terms of sharpness and because it does 2.8. The Canon has the advantage of price, slightly better AF, no onion bokeh and more reach, but doesn't wow me too much. The 135L is awesome and sometimes I wish I still had one, but the range and use is completely different from the other lenses.

My 24 - 105 is my most used and enjoyed.

+1 I had 24-70 M1 before but I am enjoying my 24-105 a lot more because of the range. I realised I never used 2.8 aperture and I replaced it with 24-105 which made me happier.

Your not "lazy". Manual focus is a pain it the behind if your running and gunning. Missing a shot relying on autofocus is far less than oof shot from operator.

Looks like you hate an extremely versatile lens. Even though I have a 24-70 I sometimes wish I had a longer universal lens for some of my outings.

In most cases I'd want faster glass for a zoom, especially for events.

Since you already own a 6d you should consider buying a 2nd one. This way you have redundancy with same button layout. When you sensor gets hot you can swap to let the other camera chillout.

First, if you don't have an EG-S screen, get one. If you do, you're off to a solid start :)

Based on your lens lineup I'd go with the 135L or a 70-200/2.8 of some sort. Chances are if you weren't happy with a standard f/4 zoom you won't be happy with a standard f/2.8 zoom either (I wasn't when I borrowed my dad's 24-70mk1). If you're going to have a fast normal zoom for only occasional use, save your money and get the Tamron 28-75/2.8.

Just my $0.02 ;)
