Im looking for a smaller ballhead to complement my Sirui K-20X.

Anyone got experience of the Sunwayfoto FB-28i ballhead?
Note that its the 'i' (improved version)

Its rated at 12kg but how much weight cant it really support?
Will it reliably hold a 700D/70D with regular sized lens?

I think you should be OK.
I own a DB-52 mounted on my Gitzo 3 series tripod and their DT-02D50 for my Gitzo 5 series monopod - overkill even with my 200mm F/2.0 and gripped 5D3!

Not may people here like Sunwayfoto but IMO, they are very good quality heads.
