We just got back from a two-day cruise up to the north, Canadian waters, end of our lake. We see the odd pelican on our end occasionally, but for some reason the crew likes to hang out further north, about 20-25 miles or so. I love these guys.

I don't get to see pelicans very often. These are really nice Al.

Beautiful shots. The background sets them off nicely.

Very nice, Al. I see birds here that I yearn for, but then I see this post and Jeremy's of the tri-colored, and I'm reminded I have some pluses, too. Can't have it all but can't stop us of wanting it sometimes;)

Beautiful!! We have a flock that winters here at the lake but they make their roost on a little island that is not very accessible.....

Love both shots.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Very nice Al. Good to see these as I've only ever seen the occasional Pelican in a zoo.

Thank you all very much; we're fortunate to have them in our neighborhood.
