EF 28mm f/1.8 USM, anyone?

Anyone here have and use the 28mm f/1.8 USM prime? I used to have the 28mm f/2.8, but sold it with my D30. I know the f/1.8 is not supposed to be quite as sharp, but from the MTF charts it looks like the extra speed is worth it (it's not night and day difference on the MTF charts). Of course, USM and FTM are bonuses! :)

How do you like yours?

I'm looking for real-world experiences here, not theoretical hypothesis... :D
