But it's only 1 bird, maybe 2. At least these visits are typically long in nature, giving me ample shot opportunities. Background isn't great, but it is was it is.

This guy had this blossom fall off on him. He dropped down and then went up to land on this wire chair back. Spent 20-30 seconds contemplating what just happened to him. Life's little pleasures!

Nice set! At least yours are visiting the flowers. Mine seldom this year are visiting the flowers but are emptying my feeders daily!

Those are all very nice Rog, but I especially like the viewing angle(s) of the 2nd and 4th images. Of course the "pose and ponder" look in the last is priceless and gave me a good chuckle. Well done!
Is the lavender colored Salvia the same species as the Black and Blue?

Great job, Rog; they show up here so infrequently that I'm seldom prepared.

Thank you everyone for your generous and kind comments. And I think what Steve is telling me in a gentle manner is my WB is off a bit-AGAIN! These are the Black & Blue salvia, not lavender. When Will I learn to pick up on that??:o

Stay with them Rog. The more you shoot the better they get.

Although I thought of WB as a possible explanation Rog, there are a lot of different colors of Salvias. Now I'm curious how you explain your 4th image that has pretty blue in the foreground and lavender in the background? Differential lighting can do this sometimes, but you're the authority here. Mainly just curious....
