Below Douglas Dam in East Tennessee

I was below a local dam today and got these picture. They were all taken with 7D and 70-200 2.8 II and 2x TC:

Excellent! I'd have loved to watch that heron swallow that catfish. Oh, btw that very first shot of the heron is one of the best I've seen...sharp, clear, setting, exposure, all of it top notch.

Thank you. I didn't know about this place, but a friend told me. We went together, and he was trying out his new Tokina 11-16 2.8 while I got bird pics.

Wow, thank you for that. I was also surprised that that pic turned out so sharp. Also, I couldn't believe that he caught a catfish so big.
