Wow it is surprising he just ignored them. I watched barn swallows chase a hawk away and they were relentless until he left. Great shots.

Thanks everyone. I was very fortunate to catch this action along the highway. That redtail was immune to the harassment of the blackbirds. A real tough cookie, he was.
