When you're surrounded by these guys, it's hard not to want to take some "new" pics whenever possible...

Some great new shots in this series. Love the first one!
If they were around here I'd be shooting them all day. Hey, when the bird in flight is as big as a German shepherd, it's easier to track them! :)

Thanks Jake. Yeah, they are slower than a Kingfisher, but there were a lot of times where they would suddenly appear around a tree almost right in front of me, flying along the river...made it challenging when they were so close.

Thanks Mark. There were only a few flight shots where I could fit the whole bird in the frame, that's one of them.

Great images Ian! I would also be shooting them as much as I could if I had some to shoot! So you keep on shooting and posting, shooting and posting. I'm pretty sure we won't get bored. :)
