I was waiting for the hummers today, but that didn't happen, than I noticed this little guy preening right behind me.. :)

Now that would be a cool bird to see. Nice job Cheryl.

My Hummingbird returns every 10 - 15 minutes. Seems like an eternity some times!

Thanks Sandy! It was great seeing him, just goes to show... you never know what you'll get :) My hummer is at about the same time schedule as yours... problem is.. you never know where he'll light. I took the feeder down to make him go to the flowers, but there seems to be too many flowers for him to choose :( and I couldn't get a shot off.

Very pretty young-un Cheryl and a worthy alternate to hummers.
Love the little "goatee" under his chin shown so well in the 1st image. I like the sparkly background lighting in that one too.
