So, this is my first releasable image from a test shoot I had yesterday with my new 5d III ( from 7d )

This is Sam.. Sam has been suffering with depression for quite a while. had never been in front of a camera EVER and was a friend of my Makeup artist..

SO here it is... :)

The model & image are beautiful, well done!

Don't let her see this, because it has nothing at all to do with her, but FWIW, the black part of the eye makeup doesn't look right. It probably looks great if her eyes are open, but closed like that it looks out of place. That's not to detract from her or your photo (or the rest of the makeup), which are superb. :)

beautiful, gorgeous detail & colours! I can't wait to upgrade to the mkIII! I have the original 5d which I love but the LCD is awful!

Nice image! Every time I see a photo come from a 5DIII I'm tempted to start looking for one and make my 5DII a backup. I'm assuming that's a gold reflector in that you used for the backdrop? I think I would have liked to see it more evenly lit up and not fading to darkness on the left of the frame. Any maybe clone out the small bit of what looks like a tattoo on her wrist.

Reagrdless though, beautiful model and nice looking image! Congrats on the 5DIII. I hope to join the club someday. :-)
