Pc recommended change in inks for above printer, changed inks
Print still looked blured fuzzy
Seen that other inks were low, so changed them as well, without Pc telling me
second batch of inks changed never registaired properly in display screen in printer preferences, they simply showed as low ink level when in actual fact they were new & full.
Using Inks made by Canon
Used deep cleaning etc.

Always best to wait until your printer ACTUALLY runs out of ink! The cartridges are very expensive and their is lots of ink still in the tank. If you have tried cleaning and still have problems I'd check with Canon.

As a side note, I have inkjets and NEVER change inks until I actuially get the message saying the ink has actually run out. I also have a laser printer and have had it for 18 months. After using it for 6 months I got messages saying the black and colour toners needed changing. A further 12 months down the line and it's STILL printing fine. Not a heavy user but 20-30 prints a week of &W and Colour!

Manufacturers want you to buy ink and toner as they make a fortune from this. I only use original cartridges for best results.

I actually changed the inks on my own assumption, because they looked low & I wanted to print a high quality photograph. When I changed the inks first after the PC said so, my print quality was poor. Can anyone tell me what the problem is & yhow to solve it?

If the problem didn't occur until you changed the ink, something went wrong when you changed the cartridges. Have you used the right cartridges and put them in the right slots?

Unplug it from the wall socket, remove all inktanks... plug it all back in re-boot and re-do the ink installation (using the same ink!!) and start again.

See if that helps..
Fuzzy images does not sound like ink problems but perhaps head alignment?

So after "rebooting" (unplugging etc.. ) do a head alignment.. if the printer does not force you to do this step anyways.. (which it should with the "new" ink installation)
