Vintage tripod Topman e8

These vintage Topman tripod from my father still in good condition, i would like to use it more often, is that possible add quick release plate on it?

You should be able to get one that fits the thread of the head you've got there, just check the size of the thread.

Looks like a 1/4-20 thread on top. You will probably need a 3/8 - 1/4 reducing bushing for the new clamp. Kirk has the bushing.

Thanks for the suggestion, but just not worth to use in this tripod. the price of clamp plate can purchase a new budget tripod.

Plenty of cheapo QR clamps over on eBay, take a look there.

Thanks for advice. I will survey the cheapo clamp made in china.

I imagine one of those disc-shaped clamps would work well. I've got one on the way to try on my Tiltall.
