Hello I have a Pro-1 printer, and here recently when I print my printer makes a humming noise, for a few seconds and stops, and keep doing that last long as it takes to print the picture.

I have went into the printer Utilities and I have cleaned the heads and the nozzles but still the same humming noise and suggestion?

I don't have the printer, but while you are waiting for people who may have some personal insight, I'd seriously consider contacting Canon Service and, if it's worth it to you, having the printer "looked at"...

Wait, is it printing? Or not? "when I print my printer makes a humming noise, for a few seconds and stops" and "long as it takes to print the picture." makes it hard to understand if you are getting a print or not.

If it's just the noise, but it's otherwise printing then I'm not sure what to say, as all printers make noise to some extent.

If it;s not printing, well, then that's a problem indeed.

You say this happens "recently"...are you saying that this was abnormal prior to now? How long have you had the printer and used it without this "humming"?

Is it filling up the print head with ink from the cartridges? That happens rather often. There definitely is noise when the printer is printing. Does it not print? Do the prints not come out correct?
