My thanks to Capt Bob on the recommendation of Dinner Island he had given me. My recent trip to Florida gave me a day to try to get out. The goal was to see Caracara I saw four but all were way off in the distance. But there was to much going on to worry about it. Large grasshoppers were everywhere and it was a show watching everything feasting on them. Hawks were everywhere Turkeys and swallow tail kites were the most impressive. I also found I need to really work on my flight skills. I couldn't believe how fast the kites were but I did manage to get a few ok shots.

Some birds are so talented! Looks like challenging conditions, but you managed to capture the action!

Thanks for the input, I was having a great time watching the feeding everywhere. And you miss quite a bit looking through that little viewfinder. I will get there earlier in the morning the next trip. I took these while leaving about 1 in the afternoon so will have to practice on some different settings around the home.
